It’s sort of a home microdermarasion scrub- it’s wonderful, but you have to be careful with it. I’ve been using it every week for a month and my soon-to-be-43-yr-old skin looks better thanit’s looked in years.

Oooh, I need some of that! I’m 41 and have lost a significant amount of weight. This has been good for every part of my **except** my face, which looks about 5 years older than it did a year ago! Do you mail-order it or what?

Another vote in favor of Dawn Dissolve. I like anything that keeps me from having to scrub the pan after I accidentally overcook the lasagne. Another vote in favor of the George Foreman grill. What did we do before George, especially living in an apartment?

A vote in favor of Kablam! cleaner. It’s advertised by the noxious Billy Mays as part of the Orange Clean/OxiClean family of products, but that aside, it does the trick. It got all the lime/mineral/whatever out of the metal track of our shower doors with no scrubbing which made me very happy. It also doesn’t smell like death, which made sensitive Mr. tlw very happy.

A vote in favor of Avon’s new line of “Advanced Techniques” hair care products. (They’re Avon’s answer to mass market stuff like Pantene.) A particular thumbs up to the entire “Straight and Sleek” line, including the Straightening Balm, Shine Spray and Dry End Serum. I got these on Saturday (they’re a “sneak preview” item right now) and my hair feels 10 times better already.

Lastly, a vote in favor of Arm & Hammer Peroxicare toothpaste. It tastes a little salty but the effervescent action absolutely rules. It’s like a party in your mouth!

George’s grill is fantabulous. He really stepped into some sweet smelling kaakaa with that one.

Here’s a vote for Chef Tony’s kitchen knives. Yesterday the edge of my right thumb got a little too close to the Miracle Slicer. Works real good.

I just got a Swiffer Wet (well, it’s a Clorox off-brand, but it’s the same thing), and it beats the heck out of regular mopping for our little apartment. I wouldn’t use it if I had a lot of tile or pets or anything, but it does work.

That Tilex mold and mildew cleaner works wonders on the black mold in our bathroom and usually fades it for a couple days, at least.

Today we bought the PUR Ultimate water filter. The one that fits on the faucet end. It’s big, bulky, and the water STILL tastes like crap.

But, I didn’t expect miracles for $40.

I think I just need to break down and get an old time water cooler.

Pepsi Blue - Gross, Cotton candy and berry vomit.
Pepsi Vanilla - Gross, Tastes like perfume
Vanilla Coke - Gross, Tastes like vanilla perfume
Lemon Pepsi - Good, I can’t remember the taste, I just know I liked it.
Sprite Remix - Good, Hard to describe taste.
Red Mountain Dew - Okay, but tastes like regular Mt. Dew
Orange Mountain Dew - Okay, but I’d rather have something else.
Red Fusion Dr. Pepper - Good, but too watery tasting.
Minute Maid Orange Soda - Best orange soda around.
Pibb X-tra - Good, but only a shadow of the former Mr. Pibbs
Chocolate Cream Oreos - Gross. The chocolate cream tastes like acid.
Mint Cream Oreos - Good, like mint chocolate ice cream.
Cinnamon Crunchers (by Frosted Flakes) - More cinnamon tasting than Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

I must agree on the George Foreman grill. We only have one of the small ones, so with five people in the family, it sees most of its use at lunchtime when someone wants to grill one burger or one chicken thigh for a salad or something.

At the norinew home, the adults all drink diet sodas. We all like the diet versions of: vanilla coke, cherry coke, Dr Pepper and Sierra Mist. I like Diet Canada Dry ginger ale and cranberry ginger ale, as well as Diet cherry 7-UP.

That schick razor is really great. It really does make shaving easier, esp in the shower. It smells nice, too. It has a clean soap scent, as opposed to some horrible fruit thing.

I tried that new toothpaste. I think it’s Aim Advance (intense?) clean. It comes in a hologram and orange tube. NASTY stuff. It tasted like a Hall’s cough drop and lemon mixed together. Then again, Mr Baboon seemed to like it, so go figure.

Has anyone tried that new plastic wrap that you press and stick?

[Leatherman Juice and Squirt tools - They rock!](http://www.leatherman.com/products/tools/juice.asp)

[Sony DVD Multi format burners](http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_BrowseCatalog-Start;sid=JFOVI99nMo-VIuAgjLafKJB2yfrdM_np0tg=?CatalogCategoryID=T%2egKC0%2eNMS8AAAD3fNt8fCjm&Dept=cpu) work great!

Little $ 3.00 plastic French drip cone for making coffee. Grind fresh roasted beans, place filter cup cone on travel mug, add filter and ground coffee and pour boiling water on grounds. Piping super fresh coffee right into the cup. It’s like ripping the fragrant, steaming hot coffee flesh right off a freshly killed bean. Can’t go back to coffeemaker coffee after this.

Trance Music - been getting into this over the past year or so. That 9 speaker system on the Denali is rocking now!

I’ve had a George Foreman grill for a couple of years and I love it.

I got a sample of that Downey Wrinkle Releaser spray stuff attached to a box of laundry detergent and I love it. You spray it on wrinkled clothes and smooth them out. It really works.

I have a regular Swiffer mop (the plain old dry one) and I really like it. I spray Windex on the floor and then mop with the dry Swiffer. I have no need for the Swiffer wet cloths or the Wet Jet. I have a really small kitchen, though, so it’s not like the commercials where they’re mopping an enourmous kitchen.

I also bought the Swiffer Duster and it also kicks ass. My only complaint is I can’t find refills. You can only buy the whole kit with the duster handle and five refill things each time.

Why, yes, I have. They (the Market Research People) sent me a free box and I’ve been using it and answering questions about it. Mostly my opinion is “They should have asked me how much normal Saran Wrap-type stuff I usually use before wasting their money mailing it to me.” I’m a fan of reusable plastic containers.

But I have dutifully experimented. I have covered a bowl filled with watery substances, sealed the edges, and held it upside-down. Not something I normally do with my food, but whatever. They said it would work. It does.

So if that appeals to you, you should probably buy a box. It does work.

There’s this Snickers spread type stuff. I guess it’s new. Anyway you find it in peanut butter aisle at the grocery store and I bought some today to spread on graham crackers and the stuff is surprisingly good. Tastes like a melted snickers bar.
