I would be really interested if this has any measurable effect one way or the other. E.g., if the Kraven movie would have been called “Hunter” or something, would that dip the attention of the general public one way or the other? Because I do know there are people that actively avoid comic movies, so them seeing the Marvel Logo on top of the trailer is actually disengaging them. ---

There’s a rumor (?) that Venom will be in Spider-Man 4. I hope not. Despite Brock’s reference to Spider-Man I don’t feel as if these two characters belong in the same **cinematic** universe. I know this works in comics but I don’t feel like it’ll work in a movie. Yeah I know they already met once in a previous movie but frankly I didn’t really like it. ---

(You’re correct that they don’t belong in the same universe, but Venom was pulled into Spider-Man’s universe through the usual multiverse shenanigans.)
