What’s the most amount of different currencies you’ve used in a day?

Also in the UK, with the Brixton Pound being the most famous: http://brixtonpound.org/

One of the £B notes has David Bowie and another has C.L.R. James.

Oh, and Scotland have/ had 3 different bank notes. These are issued by the Clydesdale Bank, The Bank of Scotland and the Royal Bank of Scotland. (although some are not considered legal tender rather as some sort of note). If you add in the English pound you can spend four currencies in a few minutes. And if you go to Heathrow add in Euros.

They’re all still British pounds, though, so I’m not sure if I’d call that three different currencies.

A friend and I drove from Milan, Italy to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, by way of Switzerland and Austria. I know we spent some money on the way through Switzerland but I don’t recall if we spent any schillings in Austria. As you can tell, this was pre-Euro.
