It’s been mentioned in the OP but I’ve always admired **Fretful Porpentine** ’s username. **Frumious Bandersnatch** is a good one too. And **woodstockbirdybird** amuses me quite a bit. 😉 ---

I’d like **Gyan** No-posts squatter has it. Like email providers, there should be a stipulation that one needs to visit the board once in a while to keep an username. ---

Seems like a fine idea, **Gyan9** , but would the hamsters be capable of handling all those usernames being deleted and all those people changing their usernames at once? ---

I really liked mine, because it had a certain level of meaning behind it, but it really is odd from others’ perspecitve. Try sounding it out. It sounds like you are clearing your throat. ---

I registered one day after I found this site…and I just used my email name, which has personal meaning for me. I thought about changing it to Scotti, since that is what most people here call me anyway, but friends discouraged me from doing so. They said that people who don’t really KNOW me would get confused. I don’t want to confuse anyone. Would I swap names with anyone? Probably not, although there are so many that amuse me, make me smile happily or make me laugh out loud. They are who they are…I am who I am. It would seem almost WRONG to switch names with them. ---

Oh, I would want to be clever enough to have thought of **CrankyAsAnOldMan**. And the nickname **Cranky** is even better, although she isn’t cranky, really. I didn’t put much thought into choosing my name (obviously, since it is just my first name), but at the time, I thought I was posting once, then disappearing. Ha. ---

I’d like to keep **as\_u\_wish** , but without the underscores. Way back when I signed up, it wasn’t an option. I don’t think it’s worth the effort to fix it, but it kind of niggles at me. A name I’ve always wanted to steal for playing on-line card games is **niaga\_spoo** , but it’s in use. ---

**Ferrett Herder** is one that I just love. I’d probably tweak it a bit to **Feline Herder**. 😃 When I registered I tried to register with the name I use other places… **spunkydolphin** but it was taken. 😕 Seems odd to me now since I’ve never seen this person post nor has a search showed anything.
