In addition to stuff mentioned above, we do have some stuff that’s been co-opted for play. The flat wooden spatula that came with our wok is a paddle now. Some child proofing cushioning is used for noisy but less painful flogging. We have ugly ties perpetually tied to the mattress. We have some poppers we haven’t used. A cop friend of ours is getting us some hand cuffs, although my husband prefers novelty cuffs since seeing some guy get cut out of real ones on one of his days teaching at the prison. Oh, and we have a cute little rubber whip. ---

I thought about getting some, but since money _is_ an issue for us, if I’m unsure I usually skip it. (Hence, the homemade stuff.) An old girlfriend and I bought a set of the metal insertable balls and she loved them. She’d put them in and we’d go to a playground and she’d swing on the swingset for a while, and said they felt fantastic bouncing against each other in there. Then we’d sneak off to the wooded area nearby and remove them, and insert something else (me). ---

I’ve been pondering some of those metal insertable balls (aka geisha balls right?). I also have a slightly more permenent toy… I got my hood pierced last summer and I love that. If I sit forward just right I can feel it (which can be distracting when I’m at work and do that without thinking). I also really want a set of [njoy pure plugs](http://lazygeisha.com/2007/02/04/njoy-stainless-steel-pure-plugs/) (leads to a review of them and pictures of the plugs). Mostly it’s just me, so bonds don’t really work as its hard to tie oneself up and I’ve yet to meet anyone I’d trust enough to do that either so it pretty much me and my imagination. ---
