How ironic. I think that statement itself shows a lot of wisdom. If only people could see past their rigid worldviews, the world would be a better place. Accidental perhaps, but very wise. Something Forrest Gump could have been credited with. ---

“In God we trust” first appeared on a US coin in 1863 and “E pluribus unum” in 1786. I nominate another phrase from the [Fugio cent](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fugio_cent) (1787): “Mind Your Business”. ---

If we’re being serious, I’d think that an excerpt from the Gettysburg Address would be excellent - “Of the People, By the People, For the People”. It gets across that our government and society are one in democracy. ---
