I currently have:

The Wall
Dark Side of the Moon
The Division Bell
Animals

Feel free to suggest solo albums as well.

I 'm sure I’ve had a CD of Wish You Were Here, but I can’t find it. I liked the title track. I remember hearing a few songs from the very early albums and wasn’t too impressed, but I can be talked into giving them another try.

I’ve watched Pulse as well as the Live 8 performances this weekend so I’m seriously craving some Floyd. I like to listen late at night, I get off work at midnight, and nothing sounds better than listening the The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking, late at night on a Chicago transit ride.

Personally, I’d pick **Atom Heart Mother** , but more more popular choice would be **Meddle.**

Wish You Were Here is the obvious answer. Never mind the title track, Shine On You Crazy Diamond is wonderful.

But apart from that - definitely Meddle.

If you like the Pros and Cons Of Hitchhiking, have you tried Radio KAOS?

Or perhaps The Final Cut.

Totally agreed with _Wish You Were Here_ first and _Meddle_ second.

_The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking_ would also suggest _The Final Cut_ as an album you should consider buying.

The very early albums, like _Piper at the Gates of Dawn_ and _Saucerful of Secrets_, are a bit different due to guitarist/vocalist/madman Syd Barrett’s participation and continued influence even after he got the boot (and the lack of Gilmour on the first album). They’re a little more psychedelic and raucous than the progressive rock most people think of when they think of Pink Floyd, but they’re great albums if you acquire the taste.

I do have to say I feel like _Meddle_ is the great forgotten Floyd classic. Between “Echoes” and “One of These Days”, it outranks _Animals_, IMHO, and sits just behind DSoTM and WYWH and is arguably the equal of _The Wall_.

I have to put my vote behind _Meddle_, too. It’s actually my favorite Pink Floyd record. The only song on it I’m ambivalent about on it is “San Tropez”, I love all of the others.

Wish You Were Here would also be my first choice, given the ones you have got, but you need to buy more.

Wish You Were Here is considered a very accessible album and would usually get the critics choice to this question. I am also very fond of The Final Cut (not a popular choice), Meddle and Ummagumma.

Hard for me to choose between _Wish You Were Here_ and _Meddle_. I like them both, but I’ve been giving _Meddle_ more play lately (plus, it’s fun to hear the bits in _Echoes_ that Andrew Lloyd Webber plagiarized for _The Phantom of the Opera_).

And I love _San Tropez_, just because it’s such a “WTF? THAT’S Pink Floyd?” song.

+1 for Meddle. I don’t often listen to Pink Floyd nowadays but when I do it’s that.

All of their albums look to be available on Rdio. And I think Spotify too now.

If you like\* Pros and Cons\* and are not huge on their early material, then I think _The Final Cut_ should be your next grab. It’s better than P&C IMO, but features a similar quiet/loud/quiet style and lots of great Waters high notes. As others have agreed en masse, though, you cannot go wrong with _Wish You Were Here_ or _Meddle_.

Radio KAOS is available for only $4.99 on CD, that was a no brain purchase.

Shine On You Crazy Diamond is a great live track, especially on Pulse. I don’t remember caring for the studio version, but I’m sure it is worth another shot.

I get my bonus pay on Friday, so right now I’m leaning towards adding The Final Cut to my collection. Of course, I’m sure most of the other albums will be making their way to my music library very soon.
