Thanks for all the great suggestions. I tried most of them out the other day - I called to my fish, and they did not come… In fact, all they seem to do is skulk at the bottom of the pond and hide under the waterlily pot. At the suggestion of a friend, the little one (fish #2) is now known as Pip. The rest are still nameless. ---
