So, I’m planning on going it to NYC for the RNC. Mostly, as a photographer. Although as a photographer with no press credentials, at least none that are going to get me in anywhere. And anyway, I’m more interested in the protests, or other public events. I only got back into the country on Sunday. So I have no idea what’s going on. Any advice on the general schedual? On the “A list” protest 😃 ? On events you’d like to see covered by a minor member of the press? Thanks ---

They were saying on the news today that the city is ‘reaching out’ to protest groups and getting them discounts at hotels and such in hopes to increase business in the city during the convention. I hear there are to be some protests in Central Park. The area about MSG (Madison Square Garden) will be very heavily policed. Should we have a doper gathering during the RNC? ---

While I don’t know if he was the first one ever to substitute a heart symbol for the word “love” or not, he was certainly first to apply it to a logo, and the fact that it’s still so popular and widely copied 25+ years after its creation (with no end in sight) says a lot about its originality and quality. I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss it out of hand.
