So next April, I will be in Japan for 2 weeks. I will fly in/out of Tokyo. Other than a wedding near Tokyo about 4 days into the trip, I have nothing else I need to do. I would like to hear if anyone has suggestions, or itinerary ideas. We don’t mind traveling, and are pretty open to most things. What things should we definitely check out while there? Tokyo Tower! It’s actually an Eiffel Tower replica. So, um, I guess if you’ve seen the actual Eiffel Tower, nevermind. Tokyo Disneyland! Unless that’s not your thing. Akihabara! It’s mecca for geeks. If it is electronic, you can find it here! I should say this is a district of Tokyo. Harajuku! Another district of Tokyo. IIRC, on Sundays there’s always impromptu gatherings of young peoples dressing in weird ways old peoples would not approve of. ---
