# What should I do with my 1000th post?

Here I am, sitting at 999 posts, and I have nothing vital, nor pithy, nor profound to say.

Shouldn’t a 1000th post be well-thought out? Shouldn’t it be original and witty? Shouldn’t it demonstrate the insight gained by, if nothing else, at least hanging around here long enough to post 1000 times?

I’d really welcome some suggestions.

Heck, no, Rysdad. Forget profundity, wit and social conscience.

Throw a party. Yes, it’s been done. No, it’s not a cliche because this group enjoys a seemingly endless capacity for rowdy, zestful if often tasteless sense of fun.

Besides, what will I do with the case of Doritos, the guacamole and the chilled Sam Adams?

Hey, Rysdad! Good to see you pushin’ the odometer. I’d echo Veb, no need to get hung up on profundity - I don’t believe I made any mention of my millennial posts, but I might’ve, had I noticed their passing under the bridge.

If a revelation hits, share it. Otherwise,…nothing wrong with a cyber party.
