What should I do with my Foreman Grill?

The Foreman does salmon fillets exceptionally well. Get a plate and put olive oil in it, add seasonings of your choice to the oil (garlic salt or Old Bay for me), then slap the fillets in it and grill em.

  1. See JuanitaTech’s advice about eggplant.
  2. Substitute:
    • zucchini
    • red onion
    • red peppers
    • portabello mushrooms
for the word eggplant in her advice. (Or in addition to the word eggplant in her advice, actually.)
  3. Invite Opal to dinner, and tell her to run because this won’t take long to cook at all!
  4. Create lovely platter of grilled vegetables.
  5. Serve with fettucine al olio.
  6. Sing high praises to George and the brilliant minds at Salton Corp.
  7. Repeat frequently.

The only ones that have a temperature control are the big giant ones that you can cook 12 burgers on at once.

No interesting receipes to share, though. I’m an imbecile in the kitchen, so maybe I’ll get some ideas from this thread. I have grilled veggies (eggplant, zucchini, red peppers) brushed with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and seasoning, though. Yum.

That’s not true. My SO has a regularly-sized Foreman grill that’s a couple of years old – fits about 2-3 hanburgers comfortably – and it has a temperature control. Of course, he always leaves it set to “high” which seems to work out fine.

Well, crap. That’s what those bastards at Sears told me. At least, of the models they had when I bought my replacement after dropping my old one on the floors and breaking it, only the big giant honkin’ GF grill had a temperature control.
