# What should I put on my checks?

How about:

Barring write-ins, my vote is for “Speak not of my debts,” etc.

When I saw your design, two quotes immediately popped into mind, both authored by Benjamin Franklin:

“In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes.” (letter, 1789)

“Remember that time is money.”
