_God’s Little Acre_ by Erskine Caldwell. Scandalous when first published, it’s now simply hilarious and alarming at the same time. A bizarre good read.

Not to get off on the subject but I do have another book I have never finished and wanted some feedback from anyone who might have read it. “Player Piano” by Vonnegut. I’ve read about a quarter of the way through, but put it down. Not that it was bad, I just got busy doing something else and never picked it back up. Any thoughts?
