My buddy Barb is retiring and going to nail school. She needs a good name for her nail place and we have decided to turn to the folks here at Straight Dope. Buddy Sue has suggested “Hand Jobs” but …well, you know. Besides, Barb is married and that would be a great suggestion if she was single…but she’s not. So! What do you all suggest? Tibs. ---

Speaking of bad puns for beauty salons, we have a hair salon up the street whose name is (and I’m not making this up) Hack n’ Whack Hair Shack." Oh my. How about just “Manicures”? Simple, to the point, and people can remember it. ---
