If you go with James K. Polk, there is a small but possibly significant subset of people that will think you are a They Might Be Giants fan. I think **Keep Curtis LeMay** sounds like a great user name! ---

I’ve gone to all this trouble to notice you, figure out who your namesake is, and make a mental index card about you, and now you’re gonna change it to **Keep Curtis LeMay**? Why not open it up to suggestions as well. **[General Pyotr Nikolayevich Wrangel](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyotr_Nikolayevich_Wrangel)** may be anticommunist enough for you, while having a little international flair.\*\* Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg\*\* would embody patriotism, sacrifice and anti-Nazi conservatism, with just a _un soupçon_ of reactionary flair.**[Tōgō Heihachirō](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C5%8Dg%C5%8D_Heihachir%C5%8D)** would be a nice naval departure, while still keeping the conservative, dutiful theme and yet opening up a vein of eastern exoticism. Curtis, keep **Curtis LeMay**. Nothing wrong with that; given the alternatives you proposed. But given the available choices, “Curtis LeMay” works for me. Keep it. ---
