I kinda liked the DC mayor’s suggestion in an article over at Yahoo. **The Washington Grays** Named after the Homestaed Grays, a Negro league team that won several championships. Lots of history and a winning tradition too. That same article mentions that the Rangers still own the Senators name, and no one has asked about getting it back. After that, I like **Federals** , kinda like the **Monuments** , and since hockey is alienating all it’s fans, and probably won’t be around much longer, **Capitols** is fine, the confusion won’t last long.
