What’s funny is there isn’t a single thing in that Op-ed that anyone didn’t know about already. Trump spends his days golfing, watching fox news, and tweeting crazy things, and lets his underlings do the actual work which contradicts his message (e.g. Russian sanctions, gun control, etc.). So now, Trump is going to fire anyone that disagrees with him as being the suspected mole. This op-ed was imbecilic.
Hopefully this person resigns first. My feeling is they are planning on resigning or getting fired soon. If they get fired, they get to be the hero that kept Trump in check and were fired by mean ol’ Trump. And they might be able to get a job at CNN.
It amazes me that we don’t even know who these people are or the basis for their opinions yet many posters here are jumping to impeachment or the 25th amendment. What if these people are the ones who are wrong?
Wrong about what? There’s plenty of lefties in this and other threads saying that the choice of action is wrong on moral/democracy principles, so I assume that you mean something else.
It’s a bit more complicated than that; that foreign influence was possible because the agents exploited known vulnerabilities in our political system, such as the kind that gives the wealthiest people and entities in our society disproportionate power to disrupt political debate with their propaganda and to rig the political system so that democratic minorities somehow manage to keep winning important elections.
