For anyone not familiar, [Statler and Waldorf](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statler_and_Waldorf) are the two old men on _The Muppet Show_ who lament in the [theme song](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJ9yAV8uQ7g&feature=relmfu) _Why do we always come here? I guess we’ll never know… It’s like a kind of torture to have to watch the show!_ They heckle the performers and seem not to enjoy the show but they’re there every week. For me, my Statler-Waldorf shows that I bitch about and roll my eyes at would include _Saturday Night Live_- really, _What’s Up With That?_ is one joke that’s lasted how many years now? And even a funny character like Stefon- give him something to do other than more over-the-top club names- he’s not glued to Weekend Update, let’s see him interact in a digital short perhaps. Gilly? Don’t even go there… yet, I’ll usually watch it if I’m at home on a Saturday Night. _GLEE_- I don’t know what it is about this show. Some nice eye candy, but no nudity; some good music but its sandwiched between thirty minutes of Autotune, and the plots and writing would probably be _better_ if the actors just made them up as they went along. The number of true eyerolls and “as if that would freaking happen!” per episodes must set a record for a hit show. Yet, I keep watching it. Do you have any? ---

Not a show, but miniature wargaming in general. I _want_ to collect an army, but the Space Marine Tactical Squad released at the start of 3rd edition made me decide to wait until one I liked got the same treatment. Fifteen years later, I’m still waiting. ---

Seems it’s from a cookbook. “Any idea which cookbook?” “Well, I ran the typeface through the Library of Congress database…” I don’t think I have to tell you that the magic computer pulled up not just a book but of course a visual cover? ---

I was kind of disappointed to hear recently that _Glee_ had officially been renewed for a fourth season…because I’m afraid the only way I could stop watching this show is if it gets cancelled. I thought I might be able to shake it over the recent hiatus, but I came crawling back the way I always do. ---

Any of the CSI versions out there. I wind up yelling at the TV about 1/2 the time because either there is a plot hole you could drive a semi through sideways, or the “science” just isn’t. ---

2 Broke Girls, whenever I see it I can’t help but complain about the juvenile humor, obvious jokes, and horrific line delivery. I mean seriously who can actually stand that show, and what do you see in it? Also just about any reality show, either the entire premise is utterly stupid (see Mob Wives Duck Dynasty and others), the people on the shows are utterly stupid (Jersey Shore, Toddlers and Tiaras, anything with housewife in the title), or the show feels either very fake and scripted or at a minimum highly controlled (anything on “Tru” TV or just about any of those “buying crap” shows). ---

I haven’t really liked Bones in a season or two but my wife still likes it, so we watch it. I really didn’t like that scene in the spoiler. At all. Glee. When we know the songs, it’s not bad, but usually everything is so forced to get this song or that song into it. I could drop it happily but not sure if my wife is ready to do so. I recently dropped several other shows and might be dropping more, so I don’t do this too often but I have with those two shows. vislor ---

I’m starting to get that way about Castle. I came in for the Fillion and stayed for the chemistry. Now, I’m afraid I spend each week bitching at Castle and Beckett to just fuck already and get it over with. I also find myself heckling most attempts the show makes at serious drama. I’ll keep tuning in, but the relationship with the show has changed. I have a similar passive-aggressive heckling relationship with Doc Martin as well. After 5 seasons I’m still yelling at the doc to just get over Ms. Fussy Britches Louiser and focus on yelling the country bumpkins. ---

You could always dress up a First- or Second-Edition Space Marine with some leftovers from a Third- or Fourth-Edition squad box, right? ---

**American Pickers**. My husband loves it, but I find the whiny me-me-me guy really annoying for some reason. And yes, **Castle** is definitely heading into this territory. I’d add **Walking Dead** , too. ---

Jake and the Neverland Pirates. I know, why am I watching a show aimed for little kids? Well, mostly I like the music, and I’m a giant Peter Pan fan. But I end up talking to the tv, mostly saying things like ‘Hook went to Eton, he knows the word ‘ball’!!!’ But I watch it anyway. ---

_Big Bang Theory_. I tend to like shows about nerds and geeks, but this show’s plots and writing are aimed at twenty-somethings.
