Schroeder was in 12 episodes in Season 6. It’s better than not having a job, but it’s not like he was the linchpin of the series.
May be, but in NYPD Blue (which you didn’t watch) he was among the most central, and most memorable cast, and few things were bigger then than NYPD Blue. That’s a level of achievement almost no actor ever achieves, relative to the pool of available actors.
Some things, not much, just doesn’t mirror reality.
And I’ve never owned a Taylor Swift album. But I wouldn’t claim that means Taylor Swift hasn’t had a successful career.
My four kids had a 16 year spread but the center decade was the 2000s. I’m not remembering very much tolerable live action sit com style kid shows that decade.
Nick had iCarly that was not bad. And in the same Dan Schneider universe Drake and Josh was tolerable. All That was a sketch comedy that brought Keenan Thompson to fame. It was fine. Nick’s cartoon fare was much better.
Disney had maybe Wizards of Waverly Place, That’s So Raven, and Jonas (the start of the Jonas Brothers) as not fingernails on chalkboard bad. Each them served as vehicles to launch decent adult careers.
Otherwise half the time I’d have rather they were playing video games than having Suite Life or such on!

Jessie on Disney had Peyton List, Cameron Boyd, Karan Brar, and Skai Jackson that have all worked afterwards. Debby Ryan had just turned earlier in the year.
