# What sites have the best deals on tungsten and titanium men's rings?

Go try some rings on at a jewellers first. Not only to check the sizing but also the width - when I was picking out a wedding band the difference in the look and feel of rings that were 4mm, 5mm or 6mm wide was a lot more than I expected.

In looking around there appear to be huge pricing differentials between various sites. Assuming the material is actually tungsten or titanium the rings are nigh indestructible. Physically it’s a ring of metal. If you are just looking for a non-complex ring what are you getting with the more expensive 100.00 - 300.00 rings vs the under $ 100.00 rings?

Years ago someone on these board recommended [Titaniumconcepts.com](http://Titaniumconcepts.com).
I bought one from them and have been happy with it for the 3 years I’ve had it.

I believe my tungsten ring was about $300 at a brick-and-mortar jewelry store six years ago. They had wide selection of shades and finishes and profiles. I really like the heft of the tungsten VS titanium (I never would have guessed that without trying them on) and I like the matte and mirrored pattern of my ring. If I ordered online I probably would have ended up with the same boring black mirror finished V profile ring that two of my brothers in law have.
And IIRC you can’t cut a tungsten ring, you have to shatter it.

My husband and I got matching plainish tungsten bands off Amazon for $75 for the pair.

Wes at [Titaniumconcepts.com](http://Titaniumconcepts.com) isn’t the cheapest, but he does fine work and will resize or refinish a made ring either free or for a nominal $5 charge. For example I ordered a polished ring but when I saw my husbands brushed finish ring I wanted that. Wes refinished it, plus he machined it out a quarter size for $5, shipping included.
Our rings are titanium with a silver inlay; I beleive they were around $115 at the time (4 years ago!).

[Titaniumkay.com](http://Titaniumkay.com) was my choice for the tungsten wedding bands I bought.
They were about $60 and are still as shiny and perfect as the day I bought them.

Have not visited that site yet but I did get some inexpensive titanium and tungsten carbide rings via ebay for around $ 20 shipped after looking at responses. Just as a general note the titanium ring I bought was (as advertised) as light a feather and strong, but it was quite easily scratched and soon had a number of scuffs. The gold plated carbide rings were as heavy as gold and extremely scratch resistant. I realize the plating will wear off eventually but it’s been remarkably robust so far.
