Well, what song is in your head? Everybody has one, I certainly do. Mine is “Jenny From the Block” which is about to make me kill myself because I hate that song, I HATE IT!!!. Mods, is this meant for IMHO, but I am talking about music, so it’ll fit in Cafe Society right? ---

We got my daughter Avril Levigne’s CD for Christmas, which I actually think is pretty good. However, her favorite song is “Complicated,” which has already gotten seriously overplayed on the radio. She plays it over. And over. And sings along to it at the top of her lungs. I need to go listen to some Heather Nova or something to expunge it. _sigh_ ---

“The Circle of Life” from _The Lion King_. Only I don’t have all the correct lyrics, just the damned ending-line melody running roughshod through my brain repeatedly. _Till we find our [something] on the [something] unwinding, in the circle, [full choir dramatic ending] the circle of life…_ Repeat ad nauseum. The “Kit Kat Bar” jingle isn’t even helping to drive it away. Not to mention the fact that I have been thinking that the word “circle” itself just looks like a funny word. Looks like it ought be pronounced “keer’kleee”. ---
