While playing guitar today as a good friend of mine played my drumset, I absolutely positively could NOT stop playing the intro to sweet child o’ mine…he got pretty pissed, but I couldn’t help it…call it a rut, I dunno 🙂 ---

I’m really liking “Clint Eastwood” right now. “Smooth criminal” by Alien Ant Farm -love that “Hit em up style” by Blu Cantrell is fighting for its slot–but I always change that one line to "if they _fuck_mess up–you gotta hit em up. It’s ever so much more bitchier. “Celebrity skin” by Hole sounds real good. But the most insidious is something from the “Boogie Nights soundtrack” I can’t remember the artist, name of the song or all of the words but that doesn’t keep me from humming. “\* I’m getting my self together and polishing my act…if you’ve ever been held down before, you’ll refust to be held down before…mumble mumble mumble Mving on up???” God help me. I’ve got to find that CD so I can have some peace of mind. Anybody know the name of that damn song? ---

I constantly have SOMETHING stuck in my head. It was “I’m Super - Thanks for Asking” courtesy of [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=84298), but now that’s rotating with “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off.” Talk about a surreal combination. On a side note, I can get rid of anything - including “Oops, I Did It Again” (gag if you like) - by going through a few bars of either “Santeria” by Sublime or “All Mixed Up” by 311 in my head. And “Clint Eastwood” is rapidly getting that ability too…bless its sweet little heart. ---

I’m not about to actually read this thread, thereby getting umpteen MORE songs stuck in my head, and I’m sorry if I turn out to be repeating someone but my song is so egregious I just couldn’t stay silent. I’ve seen the commercial on TV and at the movie theater and I got by like it was water off a duck’s back – but then I heard it on the radio and for some insane reason it stuck. Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!
