_Lindy, I am woefully ignorant of Hank I’s catalog, other than I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry, Your Cheatin’ Heart, and Hey Good Lookin’. But, given that half of Hank 3’s honkytonk album Risin’ Outlaw_ seems to be covers of his grandfather’s work, two of the rest are tributes to his grandfather, and the rest are songs done in the style of his grandfather (whom he looks and sounds just like), I’m guessing that you’re right. 🙂 Did Sr. also do _Cocaine Blues_? ---

Thanks to a recent email, I’ve had the “Somebody’s Getting Married” thing from The Muppets Take Manhattan playing in my head for the past two-three days. Complete with the Swedish Chef’s “weeding, weeding, piggy froggy weeding!” It’s worse than the Green Acres theme song, I’m tellin ya . . . ---

Ack, a group of kids in my drama class decided to preform “How to Eat Like a Child” ever since the first week of the same songs over and over again they tend to get stuck in my head periodically… I feel sick _cough cough_ Awful sick _cough cough_ Too sick _cough cough_ To do _cough cough_ Arith _cough cough_ Metic _cough cough_ And though I hate to miss the test, All I really need is rest 'Cause I feel sick… Anyone know where I can get a script to that musical so I can figure out the other half of the lyrics? Stephen Lynch, Comedian He sings a bunch of twisted songs. You’d have to hear them to appreciate them. The one thats stuck in my head right now is Special Fred(or ed, depends on where you heard it) from the comedy central special. It goes a lil somethin like this… When I was a boy of 10 I had a very special friend Fred was kind, with good intent, But just a little different… Oh, Special Fred, Mamma dropped him on his head Now he’s not so bright, instead, he’s a little bit special. Tool’s song Lateralus off their new CD Black then white are all I see in my infancy. Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me. Lets me see. As below, so above and beyond, I imagine Drawn beyond the lines of reason. Push the envelope. Watch it bend. Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines. Just a really groovy song and it gets me going. ---

When I saw the title of this thread, that stupid, happy-ass song by Green Day was in my head. i have no clue what it is called, but I think one of the lines is something like _Don’t wanna be the majority, I wanna be your minority_…some crap like that… ---
