# What song is this?

Please help me find who sang this song. All I remember is this verse:

WELL IM BLUER THAN BLUE  
SADDER THAN SAD,  
YOUR THE ONLY LIFE THIS EMPTY ROOM EVER HAD,  
LIFE WITHOUT YOU IS GOING TO BE  
BLUER THAN BLUE.

The song is called (unsurprisingly) _Bluer than Blue_ - Barry Manilow (not sure if he originally wrote it, but if not, it’s probably him that you remember hearing sing it.

Manilow did a version on his 1996 release _Summer of '78_, but, if it was released, it didn’t chart (in the US, at least).

Robert John also performed the song. John also had a hit with _The Lion Sleeps Tonight (Wimoweh)_, which was also performed by The Tokens.
