# What song is this?

What is the song that starts about 15 seconds in? Someone said it is Ritchie Valens’ “La Bamba,” however that doesn’t sound quite right. Is it “La Bamba?”

It’s not La Bamba, but it uses the same basic chord progression.

It might be “La Bamba” (or might not – hard to tell from a 6 second snippet), but it’s certainly not [Richie Valens’ “La Bamba.”](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp6j5HJ-Cok)

Thanks guys. I don’t know what it is, but it sounds really familiar. For a moment I thought it was something Jay & The Americans did, but I couldn’t find any tune that they did that sounded like it.
