My synaesthesia (mostly gone now) doesn’t extend to limiting the time of year for a piece of music, but here are a few rather summery songs: “Feel Like Makin’ Love” (Bad Company) --pretty much like early June. “Boys of Summer” (Don Henley) --natch. “Back to Life” (Soul II Soul) --or is that spring? “Power and the Passion” (Midnight Oil) --in a totally different way, but I can see the sun on the tin roof. “Hungry Town” (Big Pig) --or maybe it’s another song on the _Young Einstein_ soundtrack. ---

_Bus Stop_ by the Hollies. When I was a kid, we went on one of the very best vacations of my life, and that song (and _Summer in the City_ were getting lots of airplay.
