# What songs are these?

Can you give me the song title and artist for the following:

a) “Where did you go? Where did you go? Baby, don’t hurt me, don’t hurt me…” As you try to sing this in your head, add in a slight echo. I believe this is late 1990’s Could it be “Mr. Big”?

b) “…the captain of your heart…” (late 1990’s?)

c) “Well, I never saw a mircle; oh I never saw a miracle…” Could it be Louis Armstrong? Sounds like that style…

I don’t know the titles or the artists for any of these, but I can pinpoint the times of the first two.

The “baby don’t hurt me” song was early 90’s.

The “Captain of her heart” song was late 70’s/early 80’s, unless you’re talking about a cover version I’ve never heard.

Don’t know the last one at all.

“Captain Of Her Heart” (with its annoying piano riff) was recorded by the jazz-rock duo Double and was released in 1986.

Curtis Stigers co-wrote and recorded “Never Saw a Miracle” in 1991. Apparently it’s a favorite for wedding ceremonies.
