I’m afraid I might win the thread with this one:
[It’s a Sunshine Day: The Best of the Brady Bunch](http://www.amazon.com/Its-Sunshine-Day-Brady-Bunch/dp/B000002OND/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1258144791&sr=1-1).

It’s a truly awful album; barely even qualifies as “music.”
But I still listen to it now and then when I need a mood enhancer. I can’t help but grin stupidly all the way through.

I blast “Rock the Casbah” and “Real Wild One” (? - Iggy Pop), and “Love Shack” when life around here gets too boring. Yeah, I’m an ass. “Two Turntables and a Microphone”, anyone?

I concede. There’s nothing in my music collection that can come close to that.

I am generally a fan of quality music that has stood the test of time.

Yet for some inexplicable reason, I am currently obsessed, and I do mean obsessed, with Sean Kingston’s song _Fire Burning_.

I mean, the lyrics are so thoughtful:

She’s fire burning, fire burning on the dance floor
That little shawty’s fire burning on the dance floor
She’s fire burning, fire burning on the dance floor
That little shawty’s fire burning on the dance floor

I also attended a Jackyl concert and I recall the experience with shame. Yes, there was a chainsaw on stage.

**Will Smith** , ‘‘Big Willie Style’’ and of course **Ace of Base**. I still get the catchy songs on those albums stuck in my head on a regular basis. I’m not really sure why Will Smith isn’t taken more seriously as a rapper. There I said it.

I love **Rush**. I discovered them when I was 22, four years ago. I’m not ashamed, because, uh, they’re _awesome_, but I have noticed this is rather uncommon for females in their mid-twenties.

> I have the 3 CD set, [Herb Alpert Collector’s Edition](http://www.amazon.com/Collectors-Herb-Alpert/dp/B00195FU6O). Saw it next to the checkout at Best Buy for $10 and couldn’t help myself. 😃

If I had been in line behind you at Best Buy, I would have glommed onto that one as well. In fact, I am jealous and will soon hie myself to Google and see if I can’t find me a set.

I have no apologies for owning **ABBA Gold**. Love it non-ironically along with **The Best of the Monkees**. Rick Astley is on my iPod, as are The Raspberries, KC and the Sunshine Band, and N’Sync; plenty of Bon Jovi and Dionne Warwick too.

My secret shame is my soft spot for **Barry Manilow** – I own an ancient double vinyl album which, sadly, is not available digitally, so I’ve pieced it together, picking up the same songs in the same order from various sources and now have an almost perfect facsimile of the original. Nobody would ever know that I love it so much that I’ve worked out a whole lip sync routine to “Copacabana” complete with dramatic gestures and a hairbrush for a microphone. Unless they caught me, or unless I told them.
