She did make the post that’s not in dispute. She directly went after the owner not just said some crazy stuff. On top of everything else that was the last straw.
That was my thought, too. It’s not like Kap is a drop-in replacement for Russ Wilson, but there are enough similarities in play style, talent, and strengths that Kap wouldn’t have to unlearn a lot to run with Seattle’s offense. But he was going to be just too damn expensive, and the Hawks already have Russ Wilson, so for all the good technical fit it just wasn’t going to work from the front office perspective.
I think the players like and respect him too for the most part. I’ve heard of a few Seahawks who’d hang out with him in the offseason. They just can’t afford him.
I won’t lie, I liked the idea. It just didn’t work.
