It is almost as if you think having a subjective opinion that you are unshakably certain of makes you right… Lol silly baseball fans.

I have no subjective opinions. Each and every one of my opinions is precisely accurate. In point of fact, I don’t actually have opinions. The way it works is that I discover truths, and then choose to share them.

There are many fools who pretend they aren’t carried away with my intellect, but they serve a useful purpose - How would I know how right I was if nobody else was wrong?

I’ll try again: the name of the thread is “What subjective opinions are you most unshakably certain of?” If you get all butt-hurt over an opinion someone else posts here, you’re kind of missing the point.

And yeah, football is boring. It’s also kind of racist.

> The only acceptable use for whiskey is to add orange juice and make a whiskey sour. Or add Coke and make a Jack & Coke. Straight whskey is hideous. You might as well be drinking paint thinner. As someone else on this board once said, straight whiskey is for people who want to wake up on the floor.

First off, whiskey sours aren’t made by mixing whiskey and OJ.

Second, you’ve got it backwards. Straight whiskey is for people who don’t want to wake up on the floor. Anyone, especially inexperienced drinkers, can down whisley a whole lot faster when it’s mixed with something. That’s why those terrible fruity concoctions are the norm at college parties.

No where in the title does it say you are provided immunity from other opinions on the same matter. And just to be clear, I’m not butt-hurt. I’m not offended. I am dumbfounded! I wouldn’t have said anything other than, “I disagree,” if you had said simply, “baseball is better than football.” But I felt obligated to address your audacious claims against football! I suppose it seems to be your way, detract from the opposition rather than simply advocate your own position. An inferior and counter-productive technique generally used by people who can’t support their own claims. Let’s just agree to disagree. Unfortunately, this isn’t the board for debates.

> What other options are there?

I find platform/sidescrolling games to be mostly dull.
I don’t really like puzzle games.
Casual games are mostly dull for me too. So are sim games.
And then there’s those kind of games where the camera floats in the air and gives you a diagonal view of the characters. The official name for this type of POV is “Isometric View/Games”. This is done in a LOT of games, to give just a few examples: Torchlight, Magicka, Diablo, Bastion…the list goes on. By and large, I hate these kind of games the most. I cannot play them, as they seem to be not only (usually) boring but the set-up, movement and camera angles for me is extremely annoying too.
[Here’s what you get](https://www.google.com/search?q=isometric+games&safe=off&rlz=2C1CHFX_enUS0537US0537&espv=210&es_sm=122&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=u7OPUpLfMJXgoATavIGABQ&ved=0CEMQsAQ&biw=1920&bih=978) if you look up “isometric” and “games” on Google images. Lots of examples there.

I was defining third person video games as ones where the camera is pretty much right behind the main character (like in Dead Space, Alan Wake, Alice: Madness Returns, Psychonauts, Splinter Cell games, Darksiders, some Legend of Zelda games (OoT, MM, and TP), some Prince of Persia games, etc), not any other kind than that.

_The Prisoner_ and \*Lost \*were well acted and written.

… Riiiight up until the point where the writer(s) said “Screw it. We have no idea how to end this. In fact, we care so little that we’re not even going to explain any of the mysteries we’ve set up.” \*

_Arrested Development, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Seinfeld_ and _The Office_ are still funny, but _ **The Dick Van Dyke Show** _ holds up better than all of them put together.

\*eta that this applies to many “aren’t we oh so existential” shows, like _Nowhere Man_ and _Coronet Blue._

I don’t understand the chocolate fetish. Apparently it has drug-like affect on a lot of people and I’m envious of that. I’ve bought 80%+ cocoa solids Lindt chocolate and it’s very tasty but I don’t notice any particular psychotropic effects from it. I know it has PEA (phenethylamine) which a precursor to various chemicals and neurotransmitters, I think, and I don’t expect to get a buzz from it but I never notice feeling any different. I guess I just don’t have the right metabolism for it - which would definitely explain my strange response to other psychotropics like certain medications I suppose.
