My God, **elmwood**! The horror! The horror! On the other hand, it makes me grateful that the New England Patriots suck so bad; otherwise, the local yokels might put up tacky football paraphernalia in _my_ neck of the woods. ---

Here in St. Petersburg FL we make fun of the town of Pinellas Park, because it has a lot of mobile home parks. We refer to that area as “Penny-less” Park. I also know that we are in turn mocked by the city of Tampa (Tampans), because of our large population of snow birds. ---

In Atlanta, the Dunwoody area (north of Atlanta, just outside I-285, east of GA 400) seems to be the butt of many jokes, mostly about stay-at-home moms. Many of these jokes seem to be in the suburban, yuppie, SUV-driving housewife category, but some are just recycled WASP or Jewish American Princess jokes with the words “Dunwoody housewife” substituted. ---
