Mind control. I would make politicians I hate (both foreign and domestic) call press conferences to truthfully confess to the worst things they’ve ever done, or do very embarrassing things before the cameras so they lose face and/or power. I would make evil billionaires give huge contributions to charity, or commit to undoing their worst acts. Some other stuff, too, lemme think… ---

The ability to re-shuffle atoms (and possibly sub-atomic particles) like the Molecule Master or the Silver Surfer. Essentially a Star Trek replicator at my beck and call. Curious how many people want mind control. Apparently, slavery is acceptable if Our People are the masters. ---

I remember reading the book Jumper, that also ended up a film. The protagonist can teleport to any place he has previously visited. In the books of course there are people after him to exploit his powers. What I would do different - Since we are interested in building our own place - and since I took a course in energy efficient housing back in college I had always wanted to build a place of my own. I would have them excavate a ‘bomb shelter’ sort of space, an entire sub basement - at the time I was designing a house, it was roughly 1800 square feet, single story with basement and full attic. The ‘bomb shelter’ would actually be fitted out completely with everything I would normally need - small kitchen, bathroom [shower not tub], large studio type living area with a comfortable bed, a half wall with it set up so there was a large entertainment center where it could be watched from in bed or on a sofa/recliner. A utility room with a small washer/dryer and a decent sized pantry with freezer. I would have it tapped into the home’s water and septic system, and electrical system [my original plans were for solar panels on the roof of the house and stand alone garage, with the garage holding the pump controller for the well, a battery bank and pressurized water tank.] I would have not had the zoning board made aware of the bunker. No entrance for ‘normal’ people because I can jump in and out with a couple bags of groceries or other supplies at a time. It would be a safe haven for me to hide in =) I would be able to jump into the lavatory in - Frankfurt Germany, Ramstein Airbase, Germany, airports in London, Seville, Paris/Orly, Rome, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Fresno. Military bases - Key West, Norfolk Va, New London CT , Fort Huachuca, Fort Benning, Drum. Probably a lot more interesting places that I could have little issue hopping into and blending in. ---

That’s easy. To be able to see into the future, and change it if you want to. You could save someone’s life, or predict the lottery numbers, or which team is going to win the Superbowl. ---

Shape-shifting. I’d love to spend some time as a member of the opposite sex, or impersonating a famous person, or as an animal. I might even use it to make subtle improvements to my current appearance, like improving my teeth, fixing my nearsightedness, and making myself look more attractive while still being “me”. ---
