Working conditions are a little weird, though. I flipped through the story. I get the impression that they don’t really like it there. But IMO, rich young athletes don’t tend to ‘travel’ well. As far as what a lot of players are making during the strike - this may be a blessing in disguise for them. Now lots of players can see that it might not be a bad idea to have a fall back position if their career ends early because of injury or whatever. You have to pump lots of gas to make even the NHL minimum. ---
