MLB: Baltimore Orioles (still, and despite the heartbreak). Also, I root for whatever team is playing the Yankees. NHL: Washington Capitals NFL: Baltimore Ravens NBA: L.A. Lakers NCAA: Maryland Terps. I didn’t go there, but both my brothers did, and the college I did go to wasn’t exactly known for its sports excellence. Also, I went to my first single-A minor league baseball game the other day. The team I saw, the Lancaster Jethawks, are now my favorite single-A baseball team. I like them much better than the only other single-A baseball team I know, the team they played that night, the Inland Empire 66ers. I even bought a t-shirt. ---

ENFL- Spain College- No one but the Buckeyes! Golf- Mark O’Meara, Serge Garcia, Padrig Harrington NASCAR- when Dale Sr. died, I went w/Sterling Marlin Minor Baseball-Toledo MudHens (5-HT. Good luck this seadson with a decent coach like Mooch, you aught to get youself a winning season. MLB: Yankees NASCAR: Elliott Sadler, Jeremy Mayfield, Ward Burton, and I used to like Kevin Harvick until being his fan meant people assumed I liked Dale Earnhardt too - so now I’m a closetted Harvick fan. ---

San Francisco Giants San Francisco Forty-Niners San Jose Sharks. Any other San Francisco/San Jose (but not Oakland) team that might be playing. Couldn’t care less about basketball. I usually just root against the Warriors just to see my friends squirm. ---

NFL - San Francisco - lived there for 6 years and learnt about the game watching Steve Young/Jerry Rice etc. NBA - LA Lakers - First team I ever went to see play (lost to San Antonio in the play offs that year :mad:) NHL - Montreal - Only team I’ve ever seen play live. Awesome arena too Soccer - Tottenham - Supported them since I was a kid Soccer - Argentina - Will always remember the genius of Maradona in the 86 world cup Soccer - Brazil - 'cause you have to love the way they play the game Cricket - West Indies - Loved watching them slaughter everyone in the mid to late 80’s F1 - M. Schumacher & Juan Pablo Montoya but I’m beginning to get interested in Alonso too ---

Soccer: Celtic are my first team, my second team depends on where I’m living. At the moment (and hopefully for the rest of my life) that would be Bohemians of Dublin. Baseball: Orioles Gaelic football/hurling: Dublin and I don’t follow any other sports. ---

Gaelic Football/Hurling: Dublin. I had the almost unique pleasure yesterday of watching them live being beaten at both sports in the space of a couple of hours. Soccer (Club): Arsenal - they had a lot of Irish players when I was the right sort of age to adopt a club. But I don’t celebrate their successes or bemoan their defeats with anything like the same emotion as I do Dublin’s. Soccer (International): Obviously Ireland. I only mention this because internationals are the only soccer games I go to with any regularity. NFL: San Francisco. But they don’t show it on terrestrial TV here any more. Probably just as well given the 49ers’ declining fortunes. Baseball: Oakland. Just because I saw them play about seven years ago and loved it. A guy next to us was yelling “Bring Back Catfish” so we did too. A lot. Very loudly. To this day, I have no idea who Catfish is/was. Mark McGwire was playing. He actually turned around to us when we sang our adapted soccer chant: He’s fat, He’s round, He’s worth a million pound, It’s Mark McGwire, It’s Mark McGwire. Ah, the joys of alcohol at sporting events. They lost 14-4 to the Angels, if anyone’s interested. Rugby: Clontarf (local club) ---

**Football** Oldham Athletic, should they survive the summer. Farnborough Town, vaguely. Dunfermline Athletic, very, very vaguely. Brescia, also very, very vaguely. Thats about it. Don’t really care for other team sports much; maybe Hampshire in the cricket, but I don’t really care. Not even that fussed about supporting England in international competitions. ---
