Sooo-even before you understood what the t-shirt was about, you were enraged about it enough to want to confront store clerks and write a blistering letter to the store headquarters? This rigamarole is similar to a comic I saw once: a guy is wearing a T shirt while riding a subway, sitting next to a group of nuns who are visibly upset. The T shirt has a picture of a clothes hanger with a big red slash circle over it. His friends tell him his abortion shirt caused their consternation. “What?” he replies. “It just means No Drip-Dry.” ---
