But Saudi-style Islam isn’t the only religion offering us these weird ways to follow the letter of the law without necessarily following its spirit, so I can’t get especially worked up about it. I guess having grown men drink breast milk may be squickier than most loopholes, though. This said, I agree that Saudi Arabia doesn’t seem like an especially good place to live. ---

I believe women have to either be pregnant or in close contact with a nursing baby to give milk, i.e., nursuing it. I do not know if adult men can “fill in” for babies here … but I am sure some will try. What’s wrong with Saudi Arabia? Fundamentalist Islam. ---

What I’m wondering is do the men only have to drink it once and that’s it? _POOF_ _Instant siblings for eternity_! Or is the effect temporary, and the men must reload after a certain amount of time? Seems to me it might be prudent to convert a batch to cheese and throw it in the fridge in case the woman is away. ---

Reading the link, it seems some of the women are arguing that it takes 5 “filling” meals to make a person (infant, presumably)…uh…kosher…under this idea. They’re saying that the male clerics just don’t get it, and they simply can’t make that much milk for grown men! ---
