# What the heck happened to Quiddity Glomfuster?

She joined last November, so her membership is going to expire soon. Reading an old thread I noticed this and also noticed how I haven’t seen her around. She posted regularly up until the end of June, then seemed to stop abruptly. Although her last login was late in July.

I know some people found her to be a bit prickly (this is a MPSIMS thread), but she was definitely a significant contributer while she was actively posting. It always fascinates me when someone I see on a regular basis just STOPS (I asked this same question about **Sapo** about a year ago methinks, and I noticed that we’ve also lost **Gabriella** ). I know some of you are better at keeping personal correspondences with other Dopers than myself. While I am not suggesting we notify the the authorities, does anyone know what she’s been up to? And if we are to expect her back?

Hah, as I said, I’m not good with personal correspondence. To get too into details, I have a tremendous mail-related anxiety thing. This includes email. I kind of think its funny, although it annoys my friends and family.

Please do, but thanks for saying so. Like I said, I am half interested in how she’s doing, but also interested in this habit of when Dopers sort of fall off the map and would like to hear some other stories or accounts of why some members just disappear.
