I found [this picture](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/civiltwilight/1107972116835.jpg) in the deep dark bowels of the Internet . . . It doesn’t look edited or anything. Just . . . what IS that thing? Is it supposed to look like that or did something happen to it? (Oh, and I’m referring to the beast on the LEFT, not the right . . . 😉 ) ---

It looks kind of like a big squid to me; you’re only looking at the head, and the tentacles are below the area of the picture. Maybe? ---

It looks like a squid with half its mantle (the pointy, non-tentacled end) cut off. Picture of whole squid.
