From daycare, apparently. There is a four-year old girl there who is quite verbal and who likes to teach the younger kids how to act out.
When our twins were very small, we had one of these. Essentially it is a stroller without seats - you click in a car seat, attach a restraining strap and go. This model held two car seats and folded down to next to nothing.
The advantage, of course, is that if they’re sleeping you don’t have to wake them. And car seats are convenient - ours were used as feeding and sleeping seats when we were on the go.
As long as baby gets some time to lie on the floor on it’s tummy, and some time being cuddled, no problem.
Worst case though is baby only getting lifted out of the car seat to be changed, bathed and put in it’s crib- not good for muscle development or secure attachment.
I must be a little silly. I always assumed it meant that if you are going to have a child, you should be on the road going to activities with the child (carrying the baby) instead of leaving the baby with a sitter while you are going to adult activities on your own or with other adults (carrying the empty car seat).
What would annoy me the most is the attempt at enlightening the whole world with their more evolved moral-esque “bumper sticker”
“Jesus said it, I believe it, that settles it.” The urge to ram every car with that little bit of arrogance plastered on it is nearly overwhelming.
What good could possibly come out of constantly pointing out the child’s shortcomings?
My guess is this: You know how you often see people carrying car seats around with the baby still strapped in, sort of dangling there? Maybe they’re saying, how about some human contact for that kid, how about a little more vigilance. Just guessing.
