# What the hell is this? re:Pravda

I thought that Pravda is generally considered “somewhat” legitimate. This sounds like a story from the Weekly World News or some other supermarket rag. Please opine.

Cool! That is why we never went back to the moon. They couldn’t find any astronauts brave enough to fight off the aliens if they were still there. Wait until Fox gets a hold of this. I wonder how they will reconcile the upcoming special with the one last year.

Pravda is a tabloid. Always has been, in fact. In th old days, it was a tabloid with the Politburo’s backing. Now it’s a tabloid twisting in the wind, without Soviet propagandists to write its copy anymore.

I thought they just went goofy after the USSR fell and they weren’t told want to print.  
They had a rash of UFO stories soon afterwards.
