I found this interesting piece of ?jewelry at a thrift store. It is a pair of gold metal hands that are hinged. The cuffs are connected by a small chain with clasp. It is much too small to be a bracelet; it looks like it supposed to hold something but what? I don’t have the first idea what it is but I had to have it all the same.[hands 1](http://themermaid.250free.com/whatthehellisit1.jpg) [hands 2](http://themermaid.250free.com/whatthehellisit2.jpg) So what do you think it is? ---

That wouldn’t be a tallit clip, would it? A clasp that holds a prayer shawl about your neck. ---
