This was posted on another board but no one had any reasonable guesses. It’s pretty clear that it’s a tortilla chip that’s been rolled up during the manufacturing process. Not quite sure why it’s that particular colour; Maybe overcooked somewhere in the process. No doubt all the rejects get filtered out but this one somehow made it past screening. ---

I wonder if whatever type of vessel they fry these things in just had built up crumbs and grease around an edge, and it fell in. ---
