I like my carrots raw, I usually eat a handful of baby carrots a day, but I don’t like them caked, juiced, coked, or any other way. Just plain raw. Of course I’m the same with many veggies, so I’m just weird. ---

I couldn’t eat carrot cake until I was 21. The idea of it just freaked me out. Had some. Better now. ---

I once had a dream where I was driving up a mountain, hit a bag of carrots and crashed. I took that as a sign that they are violent, evil creatures. You shouldn’t eat them because then their evil will become part of you. Or do. Whatever. I do. And look at me now ---

Yah, people suck. O, the threads I could start ! But I have to defend carrot cake: it is a very good conveyance mechanism for the sweet, sweet cream cheese frosting that can usually be scraped right off. With enough care, the foul crumbs of cake that like to stick to the icing can be avoided. Mmm … cream cheese icing … ---

Mmmm. Carrot cake is BRILLIANT! and while the cream cheese frosting is lovely, I succeeded this last birthday in wheedling a baking friend to make me the best of both worlds, a carrot cake with German-chocolate-cake frosting (the coconutty stuff). . . mmmmm. . . ---
