Ned? Ned Ryerson?
Here’s Bill Murray (and some other familiar faces) in a Jeep Super Bowl ad appropriate for the day: - YouTube
I enjoyed it quite a bit.
If you all haven’t seen Happy Death Day, you should. Not as good as Groundhog Day, but a great take on the repeating day story.
Well, it’s Groundhog Day…again…
Then put your little hand in mine…
There ain’t no hill or mountain we can’t climb…
Told ya - call me Bronco.
That was good, but here’s the extended one minute and 45 seconds version for even more wonderfulness.
I loved how the groundhog became Bill’s emotional support animal.
On February 2,I always read Joanne Fluke’s Peach Cobbler Murder, which starts on Groundhog Day with the lead character’s boyfriend giving her two pounds of sausage meat. Get it? Ground Hog!
Of course the “peach” was in “impeachment” is a total coincidence.
Bing!
We watched it again on Sunday night.
Still holds up in most ways. Yeah, but here and there … some not appropriate stuff played for humor.
Ned… Ryerson. “Needlenose Ned”? “Ned the Head”? C’mon, buddy. Case Western High. Ned Ryerson: I did the whistling belly-button trick at the high school talent show? Bing! Ned Ryerson: got the shingles real bad senior year, almost didn’t graduate? Bing, again. Ned Ryerson: I dated your sister Mary Pat a couple times until you told me not to anymore? Well?
Don’t mess with me, pork chop. What day is this?
What the heck is going on here?
Seems familiar for some reason.
Watch out for that first step. It’s a doozy!
He’s out of his gourd.
Is the guy he does the Heimlich manouevre on, one of the guys who take the groundhog out of the box?
Yes, Buster, played by Bill’s older brother Brian Doyle Murray.
There’s a lot of things really wrong with Phil.
