What the...? It's Groundhog Day again!

Lake Titicaca.

I think it helps that they point out at the start it’s the first time they’ve worked together. So from her perspective maybe he was just having a bad day. Also, you can tell she’s both annoyed and charmed by him on the van ride.

Too early for flapjacks?

What day is it???

It’s 11F outside and we have a thick blanket of snow on the ground. I think we’re in for 6 more weeks of winter no matter what this guy thinks…

I did not forget my booties, because it’s coooold out there today!

Ted, I have the strangest feeling we’ve been through this exact same thing before.

It was even 39 degrees in Miami Beach this morning; there’s no escaping winter this year.

It’s chilly outside, and it’s Chili inside!

And yet another year?

Good evening. Tonight on ‘It’s the Mind’, we examine the phenomenon of déjà vu. That strange feeling we sometimes get that we’ve lived through something before, that what is happening now has already happened.

Phil: “Ned Ryerson - I have missed you so much. [hugs him] I don’t know where you’re headed, but… can you call in sick?” [keeps hugging him and rubbing his back]
Ned: “Uh… I gotta get going.”

I got you babe.

You never once saw it, but I bet Phil set that town on fire over and over again. He was miserable for many years and he remembers what he did and what he saw. If he doesn’t care he’s a monster and if he does he will never shake the trauma he caused those decent people.

That film is so much darker than it thinks it is.

Gosh, you’re an upbeat lady!

But he/she/it may be right. And if I was Phil, I would not care either. Dark indeed, but in a good way.

I usually drink to World Peace.
