The whole point of the Pit is that it’s an outlet for anger. If you don’t want to read angry rants, don’t go there. Stick to GD and IMHO if you want to convince and be convinced. It’s a good system. ---

It’s really simple. Don’t like the Pit? Stay out of it. Every whiny, bitchy, pussy-ass baby pants who can’t take it or doesn’t want to deal with the Pit just doesn’t bother if they have a half a brain inside their soggy noggin. If they decide to enter at their own risk anyway, they know exactly what to expect. Is that really so hard? OMG I went to an R-rated movie and saw sex and violence, and they said bad words! I’m shocked! Why on earth would they make a movie like that? Sounds pretty stupid. ---

This place is like my real life. I don’t know why I bother to come here. I swear like a sailor myself IRL, to be honest. However, I try to balance that out with a little charm and humor. Since charm and humor take extra effort to convey online, I try to avoid excess swearing so as to not have to do the work of being nice and funny to balance that fucking shit out. As far as the geography goes, I’m surprised that no one too issue with that. I was all ready for such. Chicagoans aren’t noted for super-politeness, in my experience. As far as Massachusetts goes, surely I don’t even need to say anything there…I mean, verbal abuse is an _art form_ there. Check out Adam Sandler’s “Tollbooth Willie” bit sometime for an example. South Florida…yeah. Oddly, it’s only white guys (in my experience) from South Florida that are so amazingly verbally abusive. I don’t even have an example other than Tucker Max to offer, but I assure you that Tucker Max is VERY representative, as far as the level of verbal abuse that the average white male south Floridian often resorts to. ---

I have no such general conviction. It’s a compulsion, one that I’ve had at least since age 4 or 5. I went on a 6+ month anti-sugar campaign in kindergarten after the dental hygeinist visited our class and talking about the damage that sugar does to teeth. I don’t necessarily believe I have anything better to offer. I just do what I do. Show some regard for the depth of this tendency, dude. Would you treat a 5-year-old this way if you saw this tendency in them? ---
