Last summer we had some fun comparing clock times to get a feel for how spread out over the globe we are.

Mundane Pointless Stuff I Must Share (MPSIMS)
However, I believe we can streamline the process by way of an easily accessible piece of information that ought to make it easier to find out our Time Zone fellow travelers.
Down at the very bottom of this page – right above the colored bar (blue in my case) with “Contact Us” and “Archive” and such – there’s a line you can copy and paste into a post. Mine said (a short time ago)

To participate just copy that line from your page and post it in a reply post. Add comments to suit yourself or tell us if it’s raining at your place or if there are squirrels running around or whatever.
The main idea is that we can build us a map of sorts for estimating whether so-and-so has a good chance of being online at this moment or not. Or any number of similar projects involving time.

It’s been threatening to rain all day, but seems quite bright now. I’m sprawled on a gym ball trying to find a comfortable way to support a 9 month foetus, my husband has just appeared with tea for our 4 year old (he’s assembled it into a 3D car shape for her 🙂 )and she’s watching ‘In the Night Garden’ next to me. Squirrel situation unknown.
