I aggree with that! However, I can’t really see how it makes a difference.

Seriously? Is that just because of the traffic or something? I work 9-5:30 most days and almost everybody I know works some variation of 9-5 or similar, unless they work retail. This is in a smaller city where almost nobody has that flex time stuff, though.

I don’t know anyone who has a 9-5 job. Typical east coast jobs are 8-4.

What east coast are you on? In NYC everyone I know is 9-5 too.

I guess my job sucks. I work 7-5.
It is good money, tho.
Central time is where my body clock is. Cannot say enough bad things about these po’ folks in EST. ![]()

In San Francisco, I work 8-4:30, but most everyone else I know works something like 9-5:30, give or take half an hour.
I’ve lived most of my life in the Central time zone, a few years in the Eastern time zone, and spent a summer in the Pacific zone a few years ago. Trying to follow the Cubs (or any other team) while living in the Eastern time zone was a real bitch. Night games wouldn’t generally finish until at least 11, and day games would finish right around the time I was driving home from work, making me miss the end. I’m glad to be out of that piece-of-crap zone. It was pretty cool following Cubs day games when I was in Seattle, because they start at 11:20 AM Pacific time.
