Hey, at least you didn’t get a gallon of “purple”-tasting kudzu honey for your trouble in co-signing a loan so your beekeeper friend could go off to find a [Russian mail order bride](http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/ts_search.pl?title=18&sec=2422) (kudzu honey described in post 108, but read the whole damn long thread as it is one of the best in the SDMB’s history). ---

My Better Homes and Garden Cookbook has a recipe for honey whole wheat muffins that call for 1/2 c of honey. They are quite delicious. Honey oatmeal bread is also a good way to use honey. We buy our honey by the half gallon and manage to use it mostly for PB&H sandwiches. We make a lot of those around here. ---
